- I love the red buds we planted in our yard – they provide such a contrast to all the green right now! I also love seeing all the green rise from the ground up.
- Another love – I love that women have been so vocal about wanting pockets in everything that my pajama bottoms even have them!

- Oops – a coworker told me about another coworker’s art Instagram page so I followed it but didn’t tell them it was me right away because I felt weird. They found out it was me and said it was more weird that I hadn’t said anything yet. Again, oops.

Red buds are so pretty! I can’t wait to see what they look like when they’ve grown more too. Is that the back border of your yard? Red buds and cherry blossoms are both really prominent in my area and I’ve loved seeing all the purples and pinks the last few weeks!
LOL I tend to avoid most of my co-workers on social media now that I’m a manager (mostly I don’t want people who report to me to think I’m checking up on them), but honestly I don’t think it’s that weird that you followed a co-worker without saying so. I feel like people do that all the time. Someone from my gym followed me over the weekend, and although I’ve seen her in classes, we’ve literally never spoken to each other (and obviously I followed her back because why not).
They really are! I am so glad we picked them. That is the back NW corner of our yard. That is so awesome you have so much color there!
Thanks for saying you don’t think it’s weird! She has an art account and I do too, so it wasn’t even me looking at personal stuff! And that is fun your gym mate followed you. Potential future friend?! 😉
Oh, you never know! She does seem nice. But she usually goes at 5:30am (eww) so I really only bump into her on weekends/holidays.
Your redbuds are gorgeous! We have them here but they seem to only bloom for a week or so, and most are about one or two branches. Texas heat must be rough on them. The pretty spots of color made those trees a perfect choice for that area!
Instagram is odd, as is FB, for me at least, when people I know from somewhere else (blogging) find me and send a friend/follow request. I ignore most of them. But if it’s a public page, then to me, you can follow anyone you want, even if you don’t mention it right away.

I have to agree with the other commenters that I don’t think it’s weird that you followed a coworker on IG without saying something. That happens to me all the time! I think it’s weirder that your coworker said something like that, lol.
I love when my lounge pants have pockets, if only because it means I can stuff my Fitbit in my pocket and don’t have to wear it on my wrist all day long, haha.
