A few highlights from the weekend!
Friday
- Breakfast sandwiches by Steven.
- Snister’s hilarious edit on my Instagram story.
- Getting ideas for the yard from the landscape architect who visited.
- Getting errands out of the way.
- A nap with the kitties.
- Mica liking her birthday gifts.
- A walk with Steven.
- A special Etsy order arriving.
- Pie for dessert.
Saturday
- Getting my sous chef chores done.
- A very short nap with the cats.
- Painting some “dyed” style rocks to hide on Easter.
- Reading outside on the balcony with Steven and the cats.
- Finishing a book and starting a new one.
Sunday
- Breakfast sandwiches by Steven.
- Opening the Easter basket from my parents.
- Being outside with Steven while he cut down some dead trees.
- A picnic lunch with my Dad’s cousin and his wife. We always enjoy visiting with them, and it was so nice out to sit at a picnic table and chat for a few hours in the beautiful weather.
- Walking with Steven and hiding rocks after our picnic. We were at the preserve by our old house and I was feeling all the nostalgia for my old runs there! Crazy. Being hormonal and not running may have had some effect.
- The Starbucks barista liking my “OPE” shirt.
- My Stitch Fix arriving and loving all of it. I will post it on Tuesday!
Lowlights
- My knee hurting and preventing me from running. All week I had been looking forward to a long run in the warmer temps. Oh well, there will be more nice weather in my life! Similarly, I did not spend A LOT of time outside Saturday and felt like I was wasting the nice weather.
I have never wanted one of your rocks more than that HISS rock. Gaahhhhhhh!!!!
Aww, thanks! I hid it yesterday and have no idea if it got picked up or not! (There’s a tag on the back asking people to post it to our Facebook group when they find it, but they don’t always do that.)
Color me impressed by the HISS rock.
Aww, thank you! I wish I knew who picked it up!
Hahaha I still chuckle when I see KISS Khali. 🙂
Me too! So clever!
That hiss rock is AMAZING, and Khali’s new look is equally so. Hehehe.
That pie looks soooo good. Mmm!
Thanks! Khali should do the dramatic eye more often!
It was. OMG. The funny thing is I thought I bought it before and that it was garbage so I was expecting to throw it out but I was like, wait, this is delish. Ha ha.
