A few highlights from the weekend!

Friday

• Only having one meeting at work. Yay, I had time to review things and file emails!
• Steven picking up Mod Pizza for lunch.
• The cats joining me for a short nap after work.
• Snistina reminding me my free Starbucks expired today. I totally would have forgotten to use it.
• Getting a manicure and chatting with Lorena.
• Catching up with Mom on the phone.
• Chili for dinner, and watching the end of Captain Fantastic and all of the South Park Vaccine Special. I hadn’t watched South Park in forever. It was so ridiculous and made me laugh a lot.

Saturday

• Kind of sleeping in? I was up from 5:00-6:30 then slept until just past 8:00.
• Doing a long run in the sunshine and hiding rocks.
• Getting the proof of a watercolor painting I commissioned.
• Finishing a book I enjoyed (Everything I Never Told You). I read so much less now, it feels good to finish a book I actually enjoyed.
• Buttery noodles for dinner and watching a new movie – Freaky. A bit too graphic for me, but the switched bodies trope makes me laugh (see: Jumanji).

Sunday

• Seeing a beautiful sunrise out the bedroom window as I went back to bed.
• Taking a walk with Steven.
• Getting started on a special painting project for my snis.
• Steven making homemade noodles for dinner. YUM!

Lowlights

• Realizing I could not longer get in to Libby (what our library uses for its online library). Womp womp. I also decided to take back all the hard copies I got out – it was going to take me forever to read them (I prefer e-books right now) and most of them were not from my main (now EX!) library and I didn’t want to hoard them.
