Notes:

  • It’s crazy how much rock hiding has revitalized my running and made me more excited to get out. I hit a snag with my two injuries last year, and I’ve gained weight from eating too much, so I was just kind of meh about it, but having rocks to hide is getting me excited (and the nicer weather, ha)!
  • My long run pace was a lot faster this week than last, yay. That’s encouraging!
  • I did three social walks this week – one with Steven, one with Bobbi, and one with a new rock-painting friend, Tricia. Even though the weather was not great this week, it’s still such a treat to see people and chat!
  • My strength on Saturday was lots of dead lifts and heavy lifting of cut logs in our yard. I am guessing the heaviest ones must have weighed around 100 lbs. Good thing I do all that lifting in the basement so I can use it in real life!
  • It’s been over a month since my watch made me so mad when it didn’t count my steps for a 4-mile walk that I turned off all step stat visibility… I decided to turn it back on. We’ll see if it makes me mad and I have a tantrum again!
