Notes:

  • Ha, I was excited to run Monday morning and hide a rock I had painted but the first thing I did when I got up was kick the door and stub my toe so hard it was bleeding. I was going to use that as an excuse NOT to run, but when I saw the gorgeous sunrise, I got my butt out the door. And geesh, it was so windy! A snowstorm was blowing in.
  • Steven came with me on Wednesday afternoon’s run and walked while I ran! I love when we can sync up like that. We both hid rocks on our outings. It was another windy day. A rainstorm was blowing in.
  • I had the pleasure of walking with Kathie and Kristi on Friday! It was nice and sunny out and you guessed it… windy! Ha. I pretty much bonked this run – I got so hungry all of a sudden! That’s actually a good sign for me – I usually overeat so much I don’t ever get hungry and I’ve been trying to STOP doing that.
  • Steven and I walked together this week at a preserve he hadn’t been to yet. I’m excited to show him a few others he hasn’t visited.
  • I was so happy to feel SO good on my long run this week! The low wind and sun being out definitely helped. I could feel discouraged by my pace being slower than it used to be it makes sense that it does – I weigh a lot more than I used to and don’t run as much. And I absolutely don’t care about pace and don’t see it until I finish my run! I am just glad to be running without issue after the hip pain then knee pain I had last summer and fall.
