A few highlights from the weekend!
Friday
- Breakfast sandwiches by Steven.
- Getting my hair cut.
- Picking up a free item at Bath & Body Works. (But it’s not really fun to “browse” there anymore when I am wearing a mask!)
Saturday
- Walking with Kathie and Kristi and hiding and finding lots of rocks.
- Seeing Lorena for a mani/pedi.
- Dropping off the Mustang rock.
- Chilling and watching movies with Steven.
Sunday
- Pancakes and sausages for breakfast.
- A video chat with Gina and Steve to plan our next gettogether.
- Working out with Steven at Hastings Lake (he walked, I ran).
- The friend who commissioned the Mustang rock posting something nice about it on Facebook.
- Fettucine Alfredo for dinner.
Lowlights
- Getting to the salon and realizing they changed out the stylist I made my appointment with. It was fine, but I actually had an appointment for weeks ago that I rescheduled because my stylist wasn’t available, and they let me know… apparently they didn’t think it mattered this time? I give zero f*cks about my hair, it’s just not the best customer service.
- Feeling a bit spent from my work week and really enjoying social time but being drained afterward.
Your haircut is beautiful!! I’m sorry they switched out your stylist, I would have been upset by that too. 🙁
Thank you! I wish I could make it feel as light as they do. I think the products I use leave too much gunk in my hair!
I liked the new lady but was just kind of exhausted by it… like the thought of being social and meeting someone new.
That IS bad customer service from your salon! I feel like they should always check with you no matter what—it’s just common courtesy!
