Notes:

  • I continued my search for warm running tights since the Gore Tex ones had such a low waist. I tried the Senita Thermal Warm Leggings (not an affiliate link) which are very high wasted with a drawstring and work great, yay! They didn’t move at all when I was running, which was amazing – I spend a lot of time pulling my pants/capris up.
  • Our temps dropped big time at the end of the week. I ran outside on Friday (11°F and windy) and felt warm enough except for where the skin was exposed around my face. On Sunday it was -8°F with a “real feel” of -22°F or something. I ran on the treadmill, running a mile at a time then jumping off to lift for 5-7 mins then getting back on. That worked well for me – I haven’t run on the treadmill in almost two years so I don’t have the endurance for it. Breaking it up in to chunks helped.
  • I set a goal for “movement every day” in the month of February and am on track so far!
