- Ugh. I had three close friends over the span of a few days tell me about their loved ones being diagnosed with cancer. My heart breaks for them. This week has felt heavy.
- On to frivolous stuff! I ordered some Valentine’s Day-ish face masks from TacoCat Creations. I’m excited to use one when I go to the city today to pick up my new access card.
- Our garbage can was super heavy this week because we were throwing out old drywall and other project materials, so I suggested we use the skid-steer loader to take it down our long driveway, and it worked great! I wonder how often we’ll do this.
- As a follow-up to my skin care post, I ordered some moisturizer with sunscreen in it. I will report back if I like it (or even use it)!
- Steven installed a bidet on our upstairs toilet this weekend! I also need to report back if I like it. I did scream and giggle the first time I used it.
- Does anyone else do draft posts in Instagram? I’ve been doing them a lot for my rock painting account, and half of the time when I post them, it errors them out (after saying it will post them eventually… it never does). And I take my photos off my phone almost every day so I often no longer have the photo on my phone. Long story short, wah.
- Another wah, I updated my work iPhone this week and it went from a full charge to 3% battery with me not using it at all over the span of a couple of hours so… that’s not great.

Girl you already know my insta ish! They need to figure that out. Why even allow you to save posts if they half the time disappear and the other half won’t post?! Cute masks!! I think it’s time I retire my Christmas ones and move on to something else lol!

I have a bunch of homemade masks that my mom’s friend made and have not bought any, I guess because I keep hoping we won’t need them someday (clearly we will, sigh).

I held off on buying them for a long time! Then was like, well, if I am going to wear them, they should say something about who I am! LOL. Thank you! And if you have some homemade ones you like, you probably don't need anymore. I did go overboard and have purchased 13 and received a few as gifts.
Skid-steer? Is that what that is called? I’ve always used the generic Bobcat. But that is cool to use it to move heavy garbage cans.
Bummer on the recent iPhone update causing battery drain. I’m still on the iPhone 8 Plus and it’s been fine since doing the iOS 14.4 update.
Yeah, the generic term is skid-steer loader, and Bobcat is the brand 🙂 I used to call them that too – I just learned the full generic name!
My personal phone is an iPhone 8 and didn’t have the same reaction! I wonder if it’s some security app on my work phone. I’ve restarted a few times and it’s a bit better 🙂

I think it’s time to add a few new masks to my routine! I’ve gotten to this place where I’m like, “Should I really buy new masks when this is almost over?” Which… I KNOW IT’S NOT. I know we will be wearing masks for all of 2021. So I should treat myself to some new ones!
Omg, I am THISCLOSE to ordering a bidet myself, haha. Amazon has all these cheap-ish ones that you can just install right onto your toilet seat that I want to try!

I’m so sorry about your friends. That just sucks. There’s no other word for it. I hope that you’re able to help them and support them without being too drained by it yourself. It’s so hard, for everyone.
On a lighter note, love your mask. My mask game is pretty basic, to be honest. I ordered a five-pack of cloth masks that I love in the spring, and… that’s pretty much it, other than the (super-ugly) ones I’ve gotten for free from work. Ha.

Yup, that has definitely happened to me with drafted post that IG errors them out and I have to completely redo the post. It sucks…. IG has become more glitchy, it feels like.
