Time for my weekly rock photo dump! Let’s start with orders!

My snis ordered this rock of her friend Jacquie’s dog Bear back in December. I painted it before Christmas, so it’s an early work of mine (the post title is a LIE!).

This is my first commission from a non-family member… although it is for a family friend. They saw my car rocks on Facebook and ordered this one of their ’48 Jeep Willys CJ2A as a birthday gift for the Jeep’s owner.

These next two are gifts for the owner of TacoCat Creations – my favorite place to get toys for the cats and face masks for me! The first rock is of their current logo, and the second is a design I copied from a shirt my snis got me. Meagan, the store owner, mentioned wanting to start painting rocks, and that she loves one that someone randomly left on her doorstep, so that inspired me to make these for her.

Here’s an example of how the messages look that I put on the back of the personal rocks I make.

And here’s me modeling the rock with the shirt that inspired it.

I made this one as a gift for my close friend Courtney, modeled after her two cats. I asked her to send me pics of the back of her cats last week. I wonder if she wondered why the heck I was asking for that!

And you might see these again in an upcoming post when I have more done. I am doing triptychs (I can use that, right?!) of animals with hearts, to hide in February for Valentine’s Day. So far I’ve done cats, dogs, and sea creatures. I want add barn animals, safari animals, birds, and dinosaurs.
