Notes:

  • We are having such mild weather for January and I am grateful for it!
  • My stomach was a bit upset on most of my runs this week. That happens when it gets cold (even though it’s mild, it’s still cold, ha) and I have a drawstring pulled tight around my stomach… and I am running a fast for me pace. Fun.
  • Kim and I met for a walk on the one day the sun came out this week (Saturday) and it was so nice to be outside in the sun on a non-windy day, catching up with a friend. I’m excited I’m only ten days in to the new year and have already done three walks with friends!
  • I was hoping by doing my leg heavy strength workout on Friday my legs would be ready for a long run Sunday, but DOMS was just settling in Saturday night and I could barely bend over Sunday morning. Ha. I felt fine on my long run, just slower. But yay, I actually did a long run!
