OMG you just reminded me that it’s time to pull out the Christmas masks! How could I have forgotten them??
Probably because it does not feel like Dec 1! Yay, I am glad you get to use them!!!
Ooh, I need to find some advent calendars to enjoy this year! I usually don’t do advent calendars but there are so many fun ones now!
Let’s see, this month, I am excited about Christmas, having a week off work between Christmas and New Year’s, and doing some goal setting for 2021. π
Yes! You need one and the cats too! The cats really liked the one I opened for them today (it’s a gift from my snis). They liked it so much they dug the little bag the treats were in out of the trash. Ha.
Ooo yes that week off is gonna be so nice! I was wondering if you are starting your 2021 goal setting already!
Oooh those Advent calendars look like fun! We got some chocolate ones that I’m excited to break into today π My mom has sent us digital ones for the past few years, too. They have different videos or puzzles or games every day in December, and I think that’s a lot of fun, too.
We ended up doing holiday cards!! I found out that Shutterfly (and some other similar sites, but we used Shutterfly) had holiday-themed moving announcements, which accomplished exactly what I wanted it to do. I feel very much like an adult now that we’ve done holiday cards for the first time, haha.
Yum! What kind of chocolates? I saw some advertised that were all truffles. YUM! And I didn’t know about the digital ones! Fun!
Perfect!!!! It’s so fun to send them, and yes, v v v #adult!
Ours our just boring tiny pieces of low-quality milk chocolate that you get at Jewel, haha. Nothing fancy at all. But it’s still fun to open them up every day! Actually, I read the back of the calendar and it said an ENTIRE calendar is one serving, so now I’m wondering why we only got one calendar per person instead of 24??? Hahaha π
Totally fun! Are they different shapes each day?
And yeah, duh, you needed 48 of them!!!
Sounds like you have some fun things to look forward to – and a milestone birthday for Steven! Are you going to do anything special to celebrate it?
I am super excited about our Christmas Eve plans – we ordered a 5 course 100% vegan menu for the six of us from a vegan restaurant here (https://liulin.be/xmas/) – (we also got a mother’s day menu from them in May and it was so good)…I can’t wait for the 24th! Not only for the food, but we are going to do a family quiz, where everyone has to make up questions…it’s going to be a fun night.
We were hoping to rent a theater and see a movie but we shall see if it’s safe!
Ooo that sounds so good! I have thought about ordering a vegan meal like that before. What a fun treat! What kind of quiz questions will there be?! That sounds fun too!
Oh, I remember you said you were going to try to do that! I hope it works out!
The quiz questions can be any kind of trivia…it’s fun to see what everyone comes up with.
Ahhh, is that an advent calendar with bath bombs in it? That is SO perfect.
Didn’t you mail your cards out in November (because we already got it)? Although what is time this year anyway…
I’m excited to be a little bit more mobile when we get our car. I’m going to take a page out of your book and go to a few drive-thrus!
It is! I still need to start it! But it has 10 so I have plenty of time π
I did! I wrote receiving cards π (and mailing gifts)
Oh fun!!! Did it arrive yesterday as planned?!
Seeing Pixar “Soul” (which was really great)
I saw people talking about that! I need to look into it and see what it is!
