Notes:
- Ugh, on Monday the inside of my left knee felt tender again, and it still did Tuesday on my run. Not enough to affect my gait, but it’s definitely something to watch.
- It still felt that way Thursday, after a rest day, womp womp. And it was so nice out for December – 50°! At least I got to enjoy warm weather while I slowed it down.
- Broken record, but it was still a bit tender on Saturday, but I did that entire run on pavement, when before a step on pavement would make my knee buckle. So… that’s good?
- My knee finally warmed up 4+ miles in to my Sunday long run of 8 miles. If it still feels tender this upcoming week, I’ll step back. Wah. Thank you for reading my boring knee journal.
- I hid painted rocks on 5 of my workouts this week, which was fun! I walked with a friend Sunday (which was so nice – we hadn’t seen each other in forever) and we hid 18 rocks. And I have a walk/rock hide date next week with Bobbi! Yay! A lot of people in the rock hiding Facebook group have commented that searching for rocks gets them out and working out, and in the same vein, it gets me out on more walks that I would usually take!
Oh boy, I hope your knee chills out soon!
The rock hiding sounds like such a fun thing to do, and like you said it is motivating to get people out and about! Where my mom lives it is a big thing, too. Not here, though.
Me too! It actually feels fine today, so yay!
I am surprised it’s not in Belgium yet! I wonder if anyone in Europe is doing it.
