My first Stitch Fix came Wednesday! I got it as a treat for myself after my promotion, and signed up for the every other month plan. I’m going to be meeting with new clients on video and asked for tops that look business casual (but still professional) on screen. And my stylist delivered!
I love that it comes with outfit suggestion cards!
I loved everything at first glance, and everything fit well and felt great (yay!). The sweater in particular was so cozy! But, I decided NOT to keep it because the pattern didn’t look good on me.
I did decide to keep this blouse! It’s totally my style. It’s funny that all my patterns were flowers, and in dark colors. But I like flowers and dark colors, so it works!
I love this blazer and can wear it with other tops I have, so I will keep it, and the tank (shell?) too. The burgundy pants fit right and had a nice thick material but were a bit too revealing (of the shape of my body, ha), so I sent them back.
Why is it so hard to get my face right in mirror pics?
That was a lot of fun and I am excited to get my next box in two months! Maybe by then I will have figured out the mirror selfie (probably not).
I love Stitch Fix. I’ve been getting clothes from them for several years now. I used to get them once a month but my closet go so full that I’m down to once every 3 months now. I had to tell them not to send me shoes or bags though since I’m kind of picky about those and they never were quite right. I think they do a great job though. I’m happy you’re trying them out.
They do do a great job! It’s impressive! Did you ever have them send jewelry? I told them no to that and shoes and bags cause I can pick out my own jewelry and don’t care about the other two!
That’s a pretty good fix for your first one! I like what you kept – that blazer looks fresh and modern with how the sleeves are done. I like that this will be an ongoing segment here and I can virtually shop through you instead of through Animal Crossing. Although I will say my character has some cute clothes, LOL!
Thank you! I liked that about the sleeves too! Ha, I am glad you like it cause I wrote it just for you! You will have to send me some snapshots of your AC outfits in exchange π
Very cute outfits! Such a cool concept, especially for nowadays…
Thanks! And yes, especially during COVID times, right?!
Ooh, I love what you got in your Fix! I keep thinking about trying Stitch Fix (I tried it out a looooong time ago when I really couldn’t afford the prices, haha) for some casual clothes and nice loungewear. And maybe I will! I don’t really feel like shopping these days because I’m just not sure what my style is anymore.
I’m glad you treated yourself to this Fix and got some nice business casual clothes to wear on your client calls!
Thank you! <3 I bet the right stylist could help you figure out your style! Well, that is going on my ONE experience of them sending 5 things that fit and I liked all of. Ha.
Me too! It was fun to splurge! We'll see how long I do it!
Oooh, I haven’t heard about stitchfix for awhile, and I often felt like the blogs I found were all from fashion bloggers (versus people I could identify with, like you). I’m glad you were happy with everything! I definitely want to try it, but then again….why would I ever need real clothes again?
Yeah, that is how I felt when I always saw it years ago, too. And that made it feel like it was not for me.
But yeah, wait until you need real clothes π I think they do casual clothes, but I can look like a slob on my own!
Wow, you really got a good Fix! It’s kind of funny that your tops (well, not the blazer, obviously) are patterned; that is the ONE thing I avoid. I own pretty much all solid-colored clothing, with a few minor exceptions. Anyway, I have literally no sense of style so this would be a complete waste for me, but I’m so glad it worked for you!
Why do you avoid patterns? Not your thing?
Ha, I also have no style, which is why I got help from Stitch Fix! π
I’ve never done Stitch Fix… but looks like your first fix worked out well for you. I especially like the tank with the mustard pattern on you! Maybe I’ll try a fix in 2021.
It really did! It was pretty amazing I just clicked on how I felt about a few outfits and they sent me a bunch of things I like! I hope you post about it if you do it!
