Happy (early) Halloween! My manager said we could wear Halloween costumes to our team meeting this week…
- Earlier sunrises than October… for a while
- Winning $20,000! (trying to type it in to existence…ha. I read the rules yesterday and if they pick you but you don’t answer your phone when they call, they move on to the next person… ahh! Can you imagine not answering and finding out later you didn’t win for that reason?! I automatically send most calls to voicemail so I need to be really cautious about that.)
- Listening to holiday music
- Seeing Dad
- Dragonstone actually being cladded
- Ordering holiday cards – let me know if you want to exchange!
- Maybe a trip to Guttenberg (Gina and family will be there and it would be nice to see them!)
- Running more than October
- Getting in to the 90s with amount of books read for the year… will I make it to 100?!
What’s on your list?
When will you start listening to holiday music? On one hand, I’m excited to do cozy holiday things (maybe even a little earlier this year), but it also feels like it’ll be sad to remember that we’re not going to go home or really get to celebrate the holidays like “normal.”
(I am excited about holiday rom-coms though!)
I hope your legs heal so you can get back to running before it’s too cold!
I say Nov 1, but really, it will be more like Nov 15. I think I need to get through the election and process it first. And yeah, I feel the same way! We still don’t know what we will do for xmas – if we will travel to Iowa (it’s my family’s turn) or not.
Do you already have some in mind to watch? We watched The Holiday a few weeks ago and I love that one.
Thanks! I ran this am and felt okay! Hopefully I do have nice days in November before it gets stupid cold!!!
Ha ha ha!!! Your costume cracks me up! Was everyone in costume?
KEEP YOUR PHONE ON!!!
Thanks! They were not! Two people had wigs and one person had a headband and then everyone else was in their normal clothes. Ha.
I will! The radio station sent an email Friday telling everyone to be ready to answer!
Man, it was so weird to wake up at 6:30 this morning and for the sun to be up! At least this will make waking up easier but I am NOT looking forward to 5:30 sunsets. Ugh.
YES to winning $20,000! Wouldn’t that be an amazing pre-holiday gift?!
This month, I’m looking forward to a Biden election win (PLEEEEASE), working my first election, THANKSGIVING, and my birthday. I’m not looking forward to how crazy work is going to be since November is a short month for me, eeeeeks.
It was so weird! And so nice! I much prefer the earlier sunrises but yeah, today is gonna be TOUGH! Our sunset is 4:45!
Yes it would! They sent an email Friday saying to be ready to answer the phone at 7:00 and that it would be announced at 7:10.
I hope the fun stuff outweighs work being nutso!!!! (Ha, is that ever the case?!)
Oh, wow. That $20,000 would be amazing, wouldn’t it? I get the impression that you are ready to have the garage finished… yes? It does seem like a rather, um, intense project. 🙂
Hope the legs are feeling better and the runs are going well.
It would have been! So cool they did that.
Oh yeah, I am ready! It has not been intense for me as of late (I only help a little) but we are both excited to see it finished!
Thanks! Getting better each day, thankfully!
