Notes:

  • A combination of puzzle butt and a 10 mile run Tuesday left me really stiff Tuesday afternoon, all day Wednesday, and in to Thursday, so I dropped my 3-days-in-a-row running goal. That didn’t last long. Ha. Maybe I will go back to Tu/Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun run schedule.
  • I usually reach a point midway through summer where I just cannot get out of bed early to run anymore. This year, it’s happened much later, but it’s still making me feel the same – guilty for sleeping longer, even though I need it… and why force myself to run in the dark anyway?
  • But when I do get up and run before work I am LOVING those crisp fall temps. What a delight! I feel so grateful for the weather we’ve been having. (And even my runs after work in hotter weather have been okay since it’s breezy and the dew point is lower.)
  • I was super sore again at the end of the week. It’s probably from – two long runs, all the puzzling, and spending a lot of Saturday going through boxes in the basement. Ouch. My massage in early October cannot come fast enough!
