Well, I’ve reached a new level of pathetic-ness with my latest injury – puzzle butt. It’s caused from sitting on the couch with one butt cheek on the beaten down cushion and the other on the edge of the cushion where it’s so thinned out you’re basically sitting on the couch frame. That thinned out cushion and hard frame works its magic on your muscles and nerves and before you know it, you have such a tight pain going down your butt to your hamstring that no position feels comfortable anymore – sitting or sleeping! Hurrah!
As you can imagine, the cats loved posing for these photos
Who knew puzzling was such a risky sport?! First my shoulder and neck, now this! Steven suggested a Mission Impossible style apparatus to hang me from the ceiling to do puzzles. That’s really the only thing that makes sense at this point.
Nah just kidding. My stupid a$$ (tee hee) will be back at it at lunch break.
Snister, perhaps the answer is …. buying a new sofa? π xoxo
We definitely need one and are looking at models the cats maybe wouldn’t destroy, but it’s not a priority right now. Maybe when the Dragonstone has its cladding and we’ve started paying that off π
Doing puzzles is a risky sport! I like the one you are working on now!
It is! Ha! Thanks, I finished it last night. π
Boy, who knew putting together puzzles was so dangerous! Are there training plans for puzzle assembly? “5K to Couch,” perhaps? This sounds like a classic case of too much too soon – got to ease into these physical activities, you know!
Gosh there needs to be a plan! You are so right – I jumped right in to spending hours working on one. What was I thinking? (But seriously, what was I thinking? Ha ha ha)
Puzzling is hard work! I love your commitment, even with the puzzle butt. π
Khali’s face is killin’ me.
It had to be finished!
She is like “why do I live here.” Ha ha ha. Poor Khali!
After this year, I think “puzzle butt” should be added to the dictionary – you can’t be the only person suffering from it!
Yes! I wonder what COVID-19 related words will be added to the dictionary this year. Where do I submit this one?!
