Notes:

  • I’m still trying to only run on trails but my plans were thwarted by a thunderstorm Tuesday morning. If I wanted to run safely I had to do it on my street (I could see lightening in the distance, eek!). It was fine, but I really want to stick to trails… but they don’t open until 6:30 (and today the gate was not open until 6:50 wah, ha) so… I am not sure how much longer I will be driving to run for each run. I enjoy the runs so much more than my “neighborhood” runs, and they are safer, but it’s a small inconvenience.
  • My runs all felt great, I just have no pep! But I took three weeks off and gained a few pounds so what the hell did I expect? Ha. I am just grateful to be running. Next week I want to run a 10 miler and close to 30 miles for the week.
  • I ran in to a friend at the preserve during my Thursday walk with Steven! Fun!
  • Steven came with me to walk twice this week – once when I was walking too, and once when I was going on a run. I love when he comes with me and hope we can do that more!
