4:00 pm on Friday is kind of late to receive a work email, right? Who would be sending an email at that time?
HR telling me I am eligible to interview for the supervisor position I applied for!!!! YAY! I am so relieved that my resume and essay was accepted and I get to move on to the next step.

Thanks! I did Friday night! I spent all day yesterday deep cleaning the house – it needed it after being neglected all those weekends I worked on my resume and essays and interview question ideas.

I feel so dumb that I totally didn’t “get” it when you told me the news, thinking that they had messed up their notifications and told you that you were eligible to apply (after the application due date, even)! Whoops! In any event, I’m so glad that you’re on to the next stage!
