• FedEx dropped off a package yesterday and I wasn’t even that excited to go see what it was – the last time I got excited about a package I didn’t recognize, it was just dish washing gloves I had ordered from Amazon (but were not in an Amazon box)! Lame! But this package was NOT something I ordered for myself – it was flowers from Gina, Steve, and Luca, with a message they were proud of all the work I put in to my resume and application and that they couldn’t wait to see me! Aww!!! I was really excited after that!

  • I have an architecture degree but do interior architecture (and A LOT of furniture) so I’m not very helpful with a lot of the questions people have – I don’t remember all the stuff I learned in school and don’t make it a hobby to learn outside of work (oops?). But! Yesterday Steven had some office layout questions for me and I was totally able to help. Boo yah!
  • Apollo has not made a bath bomb since Sunday! I don’t want to jinx it, but we may have figured out the issue. I will post about it in the future if that’s the case!
  • Ha, our cats are not lap cats (sad face) but we found a way to get Apollo to sit with us on the couch – if he’s in one of his cat houses and we bring it over. (We rebuilt it for him after this photo. Well, I did, then got mad and threw it across the room, then Steven built it.)

  • Why am I throwing a cat house across the room? I am on edge and moody this week. It all started Monday at work when I couldn’t get on a waitlist for a class because of an error in another system that I have no control over… what a dumb thing to get mad about, right? But it set me off. I am kind of over adulting and ready for vacation (two more weeks). The good news is, I used to be this way a lot more often, but I am less now, because I’ve been really content lately. So, silver lining. But also, avoid me this week.
  • We did not meal plan this week, eek. So last night we were struggling with what to make and remembered we had tofu and ramen so we made that. And it was amazing! Not what you’d think about eating when it’s in the high 80s (I had to drink cold water after each bite!) but so good.

  • This really made me laugh this week on the radio. There was a roofing advertisement and they said they were “GAF” certified. I was like “Well I’d rather have someone be GAF certified and not IDGAF certified!!!!” Ha ha ha. No. GAF certified is a General Aniline & Film roofing certification. (IDGAF = I don’t give a f*ck)
