Ghost visits

Ghost the cat has been visiting a lot lately.

Doesn’t he look super similar to Snow?

They have the same hooded eyes and thicc bodies. They’ve gotta be related.

We aren’t feeding Ghost, he doesn’t live in the cat house, and he’s scared of us (he runs away if we open the door), but he comes through the yard often and I love seeing him because I miss seeing Snow so much.

Our cats are really excited when he comes by too. Like, excited enough to ignore food if it’s out* (that’s DEFCON level 1 excited for them).

I was gonna joke that this is the quality content you can expect as we do less and stay home as much as possible during COVID-19 but let’s be real – I’d have posted this either way!

And to that point, please keep posting, fellow bloggers! I appreciate having your posts to read and comment on – it makes me feel connected.

*Our cats don’t graze – they get meals – so it’s super unusual for them not to mow down their food.

    I love his name! I wonder if they are bros, or maybe cousins? Or maybe that’s his dad? Or mom? WHO ARE YOU GHOST? WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?!!?!?!!!!!!

        I am glad to see that Ghost has returned to visiting. Perhaps some day he won’t be so afraid. It is very likely that he and Snow came from the same parents just different litters. Who knows, maybe Snow told him to check you guys out!! You guys have such cool names for your cats!!

          Snow and Khali both became less afraid over time so I bet Ghost could too! And I bet he and Snow do have the same parents. Hmm, so I guess they’d be siblings then!

    Aww, Ghost! Love that you name your neighbor cats like I do. He’s probably all “ima visit those cats living in that fishtank” – so cute.

      Thanks! His name is inspired by GoT (Snow’s direwolf’s name) and that he is the ghost of Snow 🙂

    Awww, Ghost! I love that he’s coming back for visits. Love his thicc body. Get it, boyyyyy.

    Ellie goes crazy when our stray cats come to visit! Lila could care less. She’s all, “So you spend all your time outside? Gross.” 😉
