Notes:

  • I felt physically fine after the half last Sunday, I just had sore feet (the bottoms). The main reason I wasn’t sore is because we walked so much after the race (about 4 miles). Active recovery for the win!
  • This has been such a fun week for post trials interviews and articles. I loved Aliphine’s twitter race recap (read here), and the interview she did with her teammates (listen here). (And yes, I am listening to non-Aliphine stuff too!)
  • I found this idea about taking two gels at once very useful from Aliphine’s twitter recap. I always just take one, then sometimes am too hungry. KIM, YOU CAN TAKE TWO. I actually did this on my long run Saturday!

  • I am signed up for the Milwaukee Half Marathon on April 11th. I don’t want to bonk shortly after mile 10 like I did in Atlanta, so I’m going to make sure to run longer than that in my training!
