A few highlights from the weekend!

Friday
- Finding a Valentine’s Day card and chocolate lollipop in my car at the train station. Steven visited my car during the day and left them there for me. What a sweetie! When I opened the door I actually said out loud, “aww, how sweet!”
- Eating Valentine’s Day donuts when I got home from work. Steven made a special trip to Holey Moley Doughnuts in Milwaukee to pick them up!
Saturday
- Dinner out with Bobbi and John. It was fun to catch up! And eat delicious Kuma’s Corner burgers.
Sunday
- Calm, sunny weather for my long run. Saturday was windy and overcast, and I was glad it wasn’t a repeat weather day!
- My NAZ Elite trials shirt arriving.
- Getting Valentines in the mail from my parents and my maternal grandmother. (I often don’t retrieve Saturday’s mail until Sunday.)
- Family lunch at HuHot.
- Planning a summer road trip with Steven, Jen, Troy, and Declan.
- Completing one of my Reading “2020 To Dos” (although, it was technically just past midnight, ha).
Monday
- Monday being a holiday! I had forgotten it was until Thursday last week, and was so excited when I remembered.
Lowlights
- Having a cold. Wompity womp. Tis the season! I’m glad we felt well enough to do our planned social events (and I checked ahead on Saturday to make sure they still wanted to meet even though I was sick. Turns out everyone is getting over a cold right now).
Add me to the cold crew. Glad it’s nothing worse, but blech, right?
Steven is such a sweetheart! I said AWWW, too. 🙂

Aww… that really was a sweet thing for Steven to do on Valentine’s Day 🙂 I was really excited about having Monday as a holiday too. It felt so good to have that extra day to relax and get things done.
It really made my day!

Jealous of your Monday holiday. However, I did have a very easy drive to work on Monday so there's that. 😉

Wow, that was really sweet of Steven. Donuts and a lollipop? What nice surprises. (Surprised he didn’t leave a soffit-themed Valentine too haha ha.)
