We all have voices we use for our pets, right? And they each get their own unique voice*, right? I think Steven and I talk to each other more in the cat’s voices than we do in our regular voices. EVERYTHING’S COMPLETELY NORMAL OVER HERE, GUYS.
So one of the cats, who has a history of being a troublemaker, but shall remain nameless**, has been leaving little*** presents for us in the bathtub.
I am not talking about store bought presents/cat toys. I am talking about a present that comes from the cat’s rear end.
We asked said cat why they keep doing this and they said to me, “I know how much you love bath bombs and I wanted to make you one.”
When Steven said that in their voice, I laughed so hard. How can you argue with that logic?! I do love bath bombs!Β And really, if they are going to do a #2 outside of the box, that’s an easy spot to clean up****. But still, gross*****.
Yep! A post about cat poop! So tomorrow, in my Random Thoughts Thursday post, when I say things have been ho hum and a bit stagnant lately, you can nod your head and say “yes, we remember you posting about cat poop yesterday.” Ha ha ha.
*It took a while to develop Apollo and Starbuck’s voices, but they’re completely developed. Thankfully, they aren’t potty mouths like Data was, geesh.
**Just to be kind to them. Not because they are innocent until proven guilty – they have been proven guilty.
***They are NOT little.
****Gah, except for yesterday when they pooped in the tub, then did the scoot across the office floor. I was worried the grout wasn’t going to come clean. Scrub brush to the rescue.
*****This doesn’t happen too often, but we’re on the third day in a row of these presents. We think it’s a protest to “late” feeding times..Β
HA. What a sweetheart! π
I have a very developed voice for Chip, my fur-brother, that I use constantly when I’m with my mom, but I’m still working on the girls’ voices. Probably because I don’t have anyone to talk to about them, in like a day-to-day way, haha. I need to work on developing their voices, though.
Aww, does your mom do the Chip voice too?!
The girls definitely need voices! I use the cat’s voices when I am home alone. That is 100% normal π
