Notes:

  • On my Wednesday run, the streetlight behind me made a shadow of me running in the woods and I thought it was someone running at me! My heart dropped! Then I realized it was just me. Ha. I was still glad to have my pepper spray though.
  • I had a bit of lingering foot pain at the beginning of the week, leftover from last week. My left foot felt stiff and I couldn’t move my toes as much as usual. So I took the beginning of the week a bit easier, hoping to run more at the end. And… that didn’t happen. Excuses: We traveled on Friday, partially through a snowstorm, which was still going on when we arrived, and I didn’t have access to any indoor running. On Saturday it had stopped snowing but it was blizzard conditions because of the wind, and on Sunday, I was sick (and the high was 1° with a -24° “feels like” anyway). Today is another travel day, and I am still sick, so I am not sure when I will run next! But my foot feels fine now!
