Notes:

  • On Wednesday night the top outer side of my right foot started aching. Did I drop something on it during construction and don’t remember? Or is it from the boots I wore to the city that day? Or did I tie my shoes too tight? I was going to run Thursday, but with all the snow and wind, and my foot being sore, I said eff it. My foot was still sore for a few days after, but didn’t bother me when I was running.
  • I’ve been teaching Fitness Boxing on Friday nights since we work on the garage all weekend long (I usually teach on Saturday or sometimes Sunday), and teaching at 5:00 am, then going on a run, then teaching at night really makes me feel like crap Saturday morning. I am teaching one more Friday night class this month.
  • FedEx came on Saturday and I took the package directly from the delivery person since I was outside, and they said “I deliver you a lot of shoes!” Ha, I said, “I order a lot of shoes!” I wonder if they thought they were nice shoes… all I order are running shoes.
  • This summer my left Morton’s toe got really bruised during a run. The toenail eventually separated from my toe, and apparently, wearing work boots all day Sunday (last week) was enough to make it come off in the bath. EWWWW. Had to share (late) though.
  • Monthly recap! In October I ran 151.3 miles (26 runs). My coldest run was 33°F and my warmest was 74°F. I taught 8 strength classes, and 1 fitness boxing class.
