• I was so relieved and happy when Khali was back home Monday. I haven’t felt that combination of feelings before. I was on cloud nine. Even work didn’t get me down that day!

  • Khali was friendly, needy, and even a bit cuddly the day I brought her home. My theory is that she ran outside on impulse and regretted it and is grateful to be back home. Heh. Starbuck hissed at her for two days, but they’re buds again. Apollo forgave Khali much quicker.

I don’t think Starbuck realized Khali was on the other side of my legs!

  • We saw Zombieland: Double Tap this week. It’s funny, but not as funny as the original. Some of the jokes seemed a bit drawn out, but it was fun to see a zombie movie right before Halloween. I’d forgotten how gory it was until we rewatched the original on Sunday/Monday. Duh, Kim.
  • I keep forgetting to mention that I’ve never seen Breaking Bad, but I did watch (most of) El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. I thought the movie was decent and everyone is saying the show is a zillion times better.
  • I’m struggling with reading A Gentleman in Moscow. It’s interesting, the writing is fabulous, and I love the main character, but it’s SO dense. Each sentence is packed with information, and it’s an incredibly slow read for me. I couldn’t read it without my Kindle. I am looking up 3-4 things on each page (words and historic references). I’m not smart enough to read this book any faster. I wonder if I’ll be able to finish it before it’s due at the library.
