- I haven’t posted enough cat photos lately! Here’s our crew playing together. Even Hodor 2.0 is there!
- I like to pick Khali up and hold her like this then move her arms with my thumbs so she smacks me back and forth in the cheeks. She loves it.
- We ended up going toΒ Ad Astra and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. It was long and slow, but it had space travel, which held my interest. Now, if we’d been watching it at home? I totally would have ignored the whole thing to play on my phone! It was funny hearing people’s reviews in the bathroom line after – “it was a long story about nothing,” “it was worse than Gravity.” (Not possible – Gravity is HORRIBLE). I also heard it described on a podcast as “sad lonely guy in space,” which is accurate. Do I recommend it? No, not at all. Unless you love space movies like I do.
- Speaking of reviews I overheard standing in line – I was at Kohl’s making a return and a teenager talking to her mom said “Who would pay $20 for a sweatshirt?! It doesn’t even say anything on it!” That cracked me up, because Steven and I had just told friends how more often than not (not all the time, of course!), we prefer clothes without words or branding on them. Horrific! We have a joke that when Steven wears a t-shirt with something on it, and NOT his standard button down, that he’s actually his alter-ego, Steve.
- We finished season 3 ofΒ The Good Place last week. I didn’t like it as much as the other two seasons, but maybe that’s just because I watched those two together, and this one much later. Maybe I should stick to bingeing shows that are completed!

Hola gatos! I really like that sweatshirt actually! Love the lace.
Hola Aunt Christina!
I thought it was a cute sweatshirt too!
Who would pay $20 for a sweatshirt?? Boy, someone should bring that lady to the marathon expo next weekend, ha. $20 for a sweatshirt sounds crazy cheap to me! Honestly, $20 for a t-shirt sounds pretty cheap to me! Plus that hardly looks like a sweatshirt. I bet I could get away with wearing it at work, even, it’s so non-sweatshirt-y.
Also, if you had 30% off, it would be $14 for a sweatshirt. But I think she’d prefer the expo one with WORDS on it. IT NEEDS WORDS. Or something.
You probably could wear it at work, especially with a long necklace!
Khali doesn’t look like she loves it – LOL! – but I’ll take your word for it! π
More cat pictures!
Yeah, she doesn’t. But she puts up with me since I feed her. Ha!
Yes! All the cat pictures and stories. π
I really like that sweatshirt! Maybe a trip to Kohls is in my future.
I actually liked season 3 of The Good Place better than season 2. Season 1 was the best, though. Season 4 will be the last season. As sad as I will be to see the series end, it’s probably for the best. The concept is great but not one that can be sustained season after season.
I get a lot of my clothes at Kohl’s! They have cute stuff.
I have heard other people say that re: 2 vs 3 and it makes me think I should have just watched them all in order so I can really compare! Was season 2 when they rebooted over and over and over? Is season 4 on now?
I’ve done that same arm/cheek wiggle thing with some of our cats. Not Henry though…he’d bite me, I just know it. He is one cat you do not want to mess with. Everything is on his terms, the jerk. π
I don’t mind a small logo on some tops but I will not buy a technical shirt or sweatshirt with a giant Nike swoosh on it or the Under Armor logo on it.
Ha ha ha, I love how you say everything is on his terms as if not every cat is that way. Hee hee π
Yeah, a small logo is okay. Or hell, a huge logo if it’s something you love!
Ha, the cheek-slapping move reminds me of piano cat.
That comment about the wordless, logoless shirt cracked me up. Now that I think about it, I don’t wear stuff with words on it very often either. It’s just not as versatile, and people can see that I’m wearing the same thing every day, er…
Aww! Piano cat! RIP π
LOL! That is a VERY good point π I love wearing the same thing most of the time. Less thinking.
