Notes:

  • On Monday I posted on Instagram about how great of a month October has been for running… then promptly got a cold. I feel like I jinxed myself. UGHHHHHHHH. I’d been waking up with a sore throat and dry cough in the middle of the night for about a week, but the cough became more pronounced during the day on Wednesday and Thursday. WHYYYYYY. (But I felt better Friday, phew.)
  • On Thursday’s run I was on a street I frequent, and a lady who lives there asked “do you run every day?” I told her I take a day off each week, and she said “well, I’m impressed!” How nice of her to say that! I wasn’t even sure if I was going to run that day because of my cold, and I am glad I got out! (and yeah – jinxed myself again – I took two days off this week, ha)
  • I was upset about Khali being missing since she left Thursday night, and it affected my mood and sleep. On Friday I woke up before 3:00 and couldn’t fall back asleep so I did a short run before teaching my 5:00 am class. Then I tried desperately to sleep when I got home (I couldn’t) and did another short run before I had an appointment. Blah.
  • I didn’t plan Friday out well – two runs and two classes? Dumb. I felt that Saturday morning during my run. I was upset during that entire Saturday run, and woke up so upset Sunday that I didn’t run at all. (But we worked on the garage both days so I got my steps in). Hopefully this week is better!
