- We’ve had almost 4.5 inches of rain at our house over a span of two days. The pond is completely full and the construction workers have to pump the water out of the garage build site. Eek!
- Another boring weather comment – we were under a tornado warning last night, and two friends (who live far away in Chicago/land and saw it on the news) text me at the same time to make sure I was okay. Aww. I was feeling the love!!!
- I received my 360 Degree Feedback Evaluation results at work. It showed overall scores of how my coworkers rated me in certain areas, as well as their comments. There were no big surprises, and reminders of things I know I need to work on.
- I had two meetings at work this week that I was apparently really nervous about because I had nightmares about them over the weekend, and felt so relieved when they were done this week! Ahh.
- Another boring dream comment – I had a dream last night with Data in it! Of course, the dream was super weird, but it was nice to see him and hug him.
- My schedule has been unusual this week with an extra in office day and an extra teaching night (I was almost going to teach another extra teaching night but that got figured out and I don’t have to, phew) and I feel beat. As flexible as I try to be, I do best on my normal schedule (well, that’s a lie – I do NOT do well at all teaching Fridays at 5:00 am, eek, but the rest of the week is mostly okay).
- And here’s a funny photo of Apollo I posted on Instagram where he looks as big as the house. Ha.

That is a lot of rain and when you are building too π bet the pond looks pretty tho!
It does! It looks very smooth and full!
Wow! I don’t think it rained by me at all on Tuesday or Wednesday (it did early this morning though). Crazy how much of a difference your location in Chicagoland can make! I didn’t even know there was a tornado warning yesterday until long after it expired – though it did explain why my mom randomly wanted to know at like 7 p.m. last night what county I live in now, haha.
It is crazy how big the difference is! Even locally, we are getting the tail of some Wisconsin storms that our friends in Grayslake aren’t getting.
Ha! Do you think she’ll remember your county now? π
I bet it was really nice to see Data in a dream! I love dreams like that! Nightmares are bummers, though, sorry you had to have those…
Apollo looks like a GIANT in that picture – I didn’t see it on Instagram because I just keep forgetting to look at Instagram, LOL! Talk about being in routines and habits, Instagram is just not on my radar I guess…
Hope the rain stops soon!
It was! Even in the weird parts.
Doesn’t he?! Ha ha ha. LOL, don’t force it! If it’s not coming naturally, you don’t need to look at it.
We actually got 2.7 more inches of rain since midnight last night. Lots of flash flooding around here!
Dang, that’s a lot of rain! I’m glad you weren’t affected by the tornado. I heard about it after the fact – so crazy!
I’m glad you got to have a dream with Data in it! It’s always so comforting to see them. <3
Wow! That is nutso you heard about it all the way down there!
It was!!! <3
You got a Texas gullywasher with that rain! Tornado warnings are always scary…for years we’d get one but it would either not touch down or be much farther away from us. Then one DID touch down about half a mile from our house. And another one close by. So now I’m a little on edge about them. Glad you guys were safe from that tornado!
Wow! A half a mile away is WAY too close!!! That IS scary π
We got 2.7 more inches of rain this morning. Eek! Hopefully that is done now!
