Notes:
- Ha, both this week and last week, we had a day where it was overcast and stormy all day, but super sunny and humid when I stepped out for my short run, then overcast right after I finished. Sigh. That was this Tuesday. The dew point was 69°. Blah. I didn’t think I was going to call it quits at 3, but I didn’t bring water, and should have if I wanted to go farther!
- Then we had some amazing weather days but I took one as my rest day and was so mad I had to use the next one as another rest day because of a headache GRRRRRRRRRRR!
- You can obviously tell not much is going on with my training since most of these bullets are about the weather SNOOZE!!!!
- I’ve been loving listening to podcasts when I run but they slow me down about 30 seconds per mile. And I listen to so many now, and don’t run that much, so… more slower miles. That’s all good – I am just happy to be running!
Oh I remember when we’d have an unusually cool day and it wasn’t my running day – most of the time I said screw it and ran anyway. But of course my mileage was so much less than yours that it didn’t effect me like it would you. And interesting that the podcasts slow you down. I guess that makes sense – faster music would speed me up. I’ve listened to my last 5K playlist (that I made but never got to use, sob) while I drive and I have to watch myself because I do drive faster, too.
You have to take advantage of those cool days!!!!
OMG! I played my “pump me up” running playlist on a road trip with Steven and he made me turn it off for that reason! I hope you get to use your list someday!!!!
