I know you guys are dying to know which Cutetito William got!
Drumroll…
He got Frostito, the Bearito! His spiciness level is HOT!
We also got Leo a Mexican food themed gift, which was completely unplanned – I didn’t mean to “theme” the gifts! He got a “Taco Tuesday” toy set with a soft taco, an avocado rattle, and lemon and lime teething toys.
I was in Kansas City this weekend to see my snister for her birthday. I didn’t occur to me until this weekend that I’ve seen her in person for her last three birthdays! It helped that they were on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I’m not sure how to make Tuesday work next year. Ha. Sorry, snis.
We had a chill weekend and mostly hung out! William and I read lots of books,
Leo and I posed for pictures and played (he’s on the move!),
I played the harmonica for them (Dexter was intrigued),
and Andrew (Steven’s brother) came over for Thai food and cake!
Christina and I also did a bit of shopping on Saturday – we went to a consignment sale and an antique shop. I didn’t think I’d find anything interesting to me at the antique shop (I was just enjoying chatting with Christina) and sent Steven this photo of my “purchase,”
but then I saw some of the booths had old postcards, which I found really interesting and got a few. I even found one from my hometown!
When we were out, a few people asked us if we’re related. Aww! We don’t see the resemblance! Ha.
I really wanted a chill weekend with a short escape from reality (chores, errands, other responsibilities) and I got it. Yay!
And I really wanted one-on-one time to chat with my snis, which I got as well, but could always use more of!
I can’t believe how much talking William is doing now, and how much Leo is on the move! I hadn’t seen them since April and they’ve grown so much! I’m glad I will see them all again in October, because I am already missing them!
Such cute boys! Such a cute family!
Thanks! <3 <3 <3 They're both so sweet!
Thank you so much! ๐
Sounds like a perfect weekend! The kids look pretty happy with the gifts ๐
It was! I love getting away to chill with my loved ones!
They do! I was so pleased. Leo is so cute with his taco, and William was taking Frostito everywhere this weekend.
It was truly such a joy having you here this weekend!! I miss you so much, and I know the boys are missing Aunt Kim too. Thank you for making the trip, and showering my kiddos (and me!) with so much love and gifts. You are the very best snister and aunty!!!!!
You are welcome! And thank you for the compliments! I think I should do more random trips to KC to see you guys!
What cuties. Leo is getting so big!
Isn’t he?! Crazy! (but not really LOL)
Thanks for the burrito update, I was hoping for one! Love that you have such a special relationship with your sister and that you make the effort to see her and your adorable nephews so often. BTW, I did a double take at that last picture – I have the exact same red motorcycle in my dining room right now, waiting for Logan’s 2nd birthday party on Saturday. Good to see it in action!
I was so tempted to do the update on Saturday! I should have emailed you a pic ๐
I love that I do too. She really is my bestie.
Oh how funny! Give Logan a heads up to KEEP BOTH FEET ON THE GROUND as he’s getting used to it ๐ William loves it!
Frostito! What a cute name! I wonder if all Frostitos are spicy, or just William’s? All the more reason to keep buying them to find out! ๐
Sounds like a really nice weekend with your family. The boys are getting so big!
So, we got a friend’s son one and he got Frostito too! I will have to ask if he’s “hot”!
Aren’t they?! I am glad I chat with my snis every day so I don’t miss out on them growing, despite being so far away (of course, it doesn’t compare to being together in person!).
Love the unintentional themed gifts! How fun. ๐ I’m glad you got to visit your snis for her birthday and see the boys. I’ll just echo what everyone else is saying: they’re both getting so big!
Thanks! ๐
They are!!! Next thing I know they’ll be going to school!!!! ๐ฎ
