Notes:

  • The theme of this week was SORE LEGS. They were sore starting last Sunday night, from running 10 miles then riding 22 miles in the morning. Then they became more sore after my Monday night strength class. Then again after Friday’s and Saturday’s. Dead, slow, legs. But they still got me out there! (Also, I must have been slacking if my legs haven’t felt sore in such a long time that this seemed like such a big deal!)
  • We had a little heat wave this Friday and Saturday, where the temps were in the 90s with heat indexes over 100. I saved my long run for Sunday, when the temp was lower, but gosh, I was still drenched!
  • I cut back my mileage this week for the heat wave and because of general laziness. I’ll remember this at the end of the year when I wonder why I won’t hit 2,000 miles for the year. Ha.
