Notes:
- I ran to Bobbi’s on Tuesday, swam in her pool with her and her kids, then she drove me home. Kind of the perfect set-up, right? Hopefully I do that a few more times this summer!
- I know it’s officially summer when I spend my hot runs fantasizing about riding my bike, as I was this week!
- My RAGBRAI packet arrived! I was confused when I opened it and it had a women’s sleeveless tank because I swore I ordered a sleeved jersey! Then I saw a note inside that they ran out of sleeved jerseys in my size and gave me that instead. Ahh. Okay, then. I’ve never had this style before – I have jerseys with sleeves or racerback tanks, so maybe I’ll like it!
- I picked up my road bike from the shop this week. I had it all the way in the car when I realized they hadn’t fixed the valve on the back tire. Oops! I took it back in and it took under a minute to fix. Also, the bike shop owner complimented me on how well I take care of my bike. Ha, that would be because I RARELY ride outside, but he doesn’t need to know that, right?!
- I did my rides with my portable speaker strapped to my bike this week. Riding by myself is kind of boring, and having tunes makes it much more fun!
