This month seems quiet when I look at our calendar (until the last week anyway). Here’s what I’m excited about in July!
- Reading something different! Gosh, I have been stuck on the same book (Running Home) since June 7!!! I’ll blog more about my struggles with it and why I kept reading it whenever I finish it. I’m getting so close.
- Inviting myself over to Bobbi’s to use her pool
- Melting in to a puddle on the ground during my runs Riding my bike more!
- Riding Day 7 of RAGBRAI with Dad!
- A vacation at the river with my parents and Gina and fam!
Pretty short list this month! Is yours longer?
Ahhh, rike biding…good lord I actually typed that. BIKE RIDING – where you get a free breeze just by pedaling!
My list has nothing on it. Well, maybe to get off some drugs might be nice, as evidenced by the lovely double typo above. π
Ha ha ha ha ha. It’s funny, it was breezy here all spring and now that it’s so hot the forecast says “calm” all the time. Where’d the breeze go?!
LOL! I hope that happens for you!
Ooh, this is going to sound weird, but today I was thinking how I haven’t heard any reading updates from you lately. I’m so interested to hear your thoughts on that book and why you kept reading it!
My July should be low-key, too! Not too much going on, aside from some birthday shenanigans (not for me, for other people!)
Aww, thanks for thinking of me! Not weird at all! I powered through it on my train ride this am and finished it, and wrote about it! Basically, I just wanted to get to the running bits of the book, ha!
Ooo fun! What are they?!
I looked up that book on Amazon and the reviews were pretty good. I will be interested to know why you are finding it a difficult read. July plans – 4th – 4 mile race in the a.m. and a cousin’s party in the p.m. Mid-July – going to Maine for the first time!
It just was NOT clicking for me! For no good reason! I finally finished it though, yay!
Ooo, that sounds fun! I can’t wait to hear about Maine – we really want to visit there!
