Woo hoo, ten years, woo

Saturday the 8th was my ten year anniversary at work! That’s the longest I’ve worked anywhere.

I think I get a pin or something?

I’m celebrating (not really) by taking my annual trip to Dallas (read: three days OFF work) and by doing lots of Christmasy stuff!

Have you watched Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer as an adult?! It’s pretty effed up.

It’s a wonderful distraction from work, which I needed and appreciate. It’s going to be hard to go back on Wednesday! Can’t I just stay on the Island of Misfit Toys forever?!

    Congrats on 10 years I guess? LOL enjoy the pin 🙂 I got a pair of earrings for my 5th anniversary and absolutely nothing for my 10 year anniversary. I had a new manager at the time (who was a total dbag) so pretty sure that’s how that milestone was missed. I’ll keep you posted on the nothing I get next year for my 15th. Loyalty to one company is the BEST!

      Earrings! That’s interesting! Company branded or random earrings? They actually told us at the last townhall to let them know when they miss our milestones. Ha!

    Congrats. Work anniversaries are fun to celebrate. Especially 10 years. For many companies, 10 years is a nice milestone. I know the last company I worked for, 10 years meant more vacation time.
