Notes:
- My face was so damn cold as I ran in to the wind on my Wednesday run. The next day I saw a photo of myself on our digital photo frame from a run last January and noticed I had a regular gaiter on, then a fleece gaiter over that. Duh, Kim. Wear two gaiters, not just one thin one, when it’s that cold. (And again, can’t believe I am already dressing this warm for runs!)
- I ran with PEOPLE (Gina, Steven, and Bob)! You guys know I always gush about it when I do, and it was just as fun this time. Ahh, how the time flies when you are talking to other people while running. It’s so different than running alone (duh).
- I am currently prioritizing sleep (including naps) and social time over working out, so, yeah… I guess I should try to focus on quality workouts if I am doing that. I felt like I had some this week, so yay!
It is so much easier to run with a group, altho it was like pulling teeth to try get conversation out of my running partner this week. I eventually gave up and turned up my music up (bone connectivity ones so I could still hear everything). Even then its easier because the group pulls you along and the peer pressure is enough to make you do the entire thing lol!
Your partner must have been having an off day! I hope there is actual chat he next time you run together! And yes, it’s easier even if you aren’t chatting!
