It’s been almost a year since I got my first tattoo!
Ha, “first” implies I have more than one now*. I don’t, but I have a lot in mind!
I’d like to get a compass rose tattoo – on my foot or side. This would symbolize my love of maps and travel <— I know, so original.
This is way too big, and only the start of what I’d like. But a similar style.
I really like text tattoos. I love asking people the meaning behind theirs! (And love when people comment on mine!) I’ve thought about getting my original family name “Alexciou” (see Oct. 24 post here). Not sure where I would get it, though!
And eventually, I think I will get a cat related tattoo (I really like 3, 15, and 22, here)!
I’ve seen some cool vegetarian/vegan lifestyle related tattoos, but that’s something I don’t think I will ever want. It is the diet I follow, but I don’t like using the label and the connotation that comes with it.
Anyway. I will spend a lot of time thinking about it, like I did with my first, before I get another!
*Ha, I was talking about getting another tattoo around my mom and she informed me I only get one. Ha ha, oh, Mom.
Ha! that is so funny, hubby and I were looking at some of those cat tattoos over the weekend lol we loved the chubby cat and I like 3 too. I don’t have a tattoo though, I said after I ran a half I would get a small heart with 13.1 in it then I decided I should run a marathon and get one…and that hasn’t happened yet…and I am afraid it will hurt.

Have you seen any running themed ones (that aren’t associated with a distance) that you like? 🙂 Mine didn’t hurt, but it’s pretty small. Just felt like someone was pinching my skin 🙂
I like your tattoo. I’m too chicken. I did briefly think about putting a PR on my foot, but then realized I would have more and more, hopefully anyway.

I just got my 2nd tattoo this year and am already thinking about my next one! Of course, there were 10 years between my first and second so I doubt it will be any time soon. I love that Princess Leia cat tattoo but I’m not sure I’d call it classy 🙂

I like the idea of running ones, like maybe the race logo. I’m so squeamish around needles though so I’ll never get one.
Oh man, I am so obsessed with trying to design my 2nd tattoo right now as well!! I think I know the place I want it (across my ribs, on my right side – although I hear ribs are SUPER painful. Great!) but I’m having a hard time deciding WHAT to get. I’m super into this Roald Dahl quote right now (http://www.wallquotes.com/vinyl-wall-quotes/inspirational/always-look-lovely-wall-quotes-decal), but I don’t think I want a block of text that large; I’m now thinking I want someone artistic to design the words into the shape of a sunburst / rising sun. I think that text specifically goes wonderful with some sunrise imagery. At least part of the text can be part of the sunrise. Some of it could be below or above!

I like text tattoos too! I will not get them, but I admire them on other people. Someone I know has one down her backbone, which looks cool, but I bet it was painful! A lot of people around here are getting them on the underside of their forearm.

Of course I’ll get another one for Chewie, eventually. And I originally wanted to get a running one, but now I’m wonder if I want one that’s just more fitness oriented. No idea what that would be, though.
I think the cat tattoo idea makes a lot of sense because your veganism stems from your love of animals, right? And I don’t think that’s something that’s going to change any time soon.
