I feel like I need to say something on my blog:
I am here!
I am just too busy lately doing stuff (it’s SUMMER!!!). I haven’t been around my computer at all to write blogposts or to read blogs. I’ll get to it. But first…
I am in Louisville again this week for work. And gone for the Fourth of July. Then Steven’s family is in town for five days. So, we’ll see. Be patient with me (please)!
Anyway, it’s so frickin’ hot (sometimes?) this summer, that I decided skirts are the only option (air flow) for work clothing. I went to JCPenney last week and picked up a few new ones for my trip.
I spent $100 and got four skirts and two tops. Gotta love JCPenney. Where do you love to shop for cheap deals?
Here is the skirt I didn’t get. It was more of a pencil cut and a size too small for me. But I thought it was super cute.
If they would have had it in my sister’s size I totally would have purchased it. Sorry Christina, no luck.
You hit the jackpot at Penny’s. I never think to go there but they can have cute stuff. I saw this skirt on The Limited website and it made me think of you but it’s no where near as good of a deal as you got!
That skirt is cute! But I am learning I like the length just below or at my knees the best – then I don’t feel too indecent when I sit at a table with people who can see under it. Ha ha.

It did come with the belt! But the top I bought looked best not tucked in. I will have Steven take my pic the next time I wear them all.

Love skirts #2 and #3! You got a STEAL! A lot of my skirts tend to come from AT LOFT love to shop their sales/clearance when they have extra % off. Also love TJ Maxx and one of my local consignment shops! It’s hit or miss but I’ve found things new with tags or barely worn. Got a dress this weekend for $11!

I am jumping on the skirt bandwagon this summer. Especially since I seem to fit into a few ones that I have had and previously were too small for me which is nice. JCPenney can be so hit or miss for me. I have to really be in the mood to shop. You got some great skirts!
Cute! My sister used to work there but I haven’t been there in ages…I usually hit Kohl’s when I am in the US for great bargains. I don’t buy a lot here in Belgium – clothes are really expensive.
Super cute skirts. I love deals like that. These days, I go to Carters for my deals … though, the clothes fit Gavin better than they fit me. =)

those skirts are adorable!! i totally need new skirts, but first i need new summer shoes that i can wear with skirts that are also not going to kill me now that i take public transportation to work. it’s surprisingly tall order!
Love the skirts!! I got dressed for work one day last week and took Delilah outside to be met with super crazy humidity and heat (at 5am!!) and decided I needed to switch my pants to a skirt! So I totally feel you on this. Most of my skirts are black and white and I feel like I need to branch out and get some new ones.
LOL! I totally have a TON of B&W ones too. A TON! Well, most 🙂
