I’m always talking about how I like to follow* (well, “like”) businesses on Facebook because they share sales, special events, do contests and so on – it’s useful information that I might not otherwise know about! Do you “like” (follow) your favorite business on Facebook?
Today, I am especially happy that I follow “like” Running Away Multisport, a local running/tri store. I happened to log in to Facebook and notice they posted a contest – if you were the first person to identify the item in the image below, you would win it:

If you’re local, check out RAM’s Racing page – they host a lot of fun running events. Last year I walked their North Shore Half Marathon and had a lot of fun. Maybe I can run it this year! *Fingers crossed*

I think they might be the ones organizing a Valentine’s Day run…I like running in Highland Park (they did the Turkey Trot I did with Marcia).
I am thinking about doing the Valentine’s Day run! It’s either a 4M or a 10K, right?
Is the Nike+ Sportsband what you have?
I have the Nike+ but I never got the sportsband – I went with a remote watch (so I can change songs and listen to my pace without messing with my iPod). The sportsband is supposed to be nice – I think it monitors heart rate too.

That’s awesome! I have a lot of “likes”…well, I am kind of obsessed with Facebook I think. Regardless, More cupcakes gives away freebies on Tuesday if you are one of the first 50 to tag a photo of a cupcake on their page, and I got a free Zone Bar from Zone Perfect for liking their page. I might be posting this on the wrong post but regarding your comments on the shadow box, I wanted to say that I have everything from my 1st marathon in a shadow box. After that, it became apparent that to do so for all our races would be too many (hubby ran 6 marathons to my 2) so for all of our other medals (mostly halfs) we have them hanging off a decorative (big, round, wooden)curtain rod (2 actually) hung on the wall in a hallway. That way people can see them and they’re organized into a smaller space.
I asked for a medal rack for Christmas! I think hanging them like that is great. Can you imagine a wall of Shadow boxes? That would be funny 🙂
