Well, we still don’t have our holiday decorations up at home (maybe if I am feeling well enough this weekend?), but I did put some up at work this morning.*

Do you have decorations up at work? At home? Do they make you feel more festive?
*Why so late? My workstation was reconfigured to a smaller size for the past 6 weeks and all of my decorations were in storage. Today the workstation is back to its normal size and I could put them out!
My first year working here, we put up snowflakes on the windows by my friend and my desks (right next to each other).
Those snowflakes have not moved for 2 years.
People barely even notice…
I helped my mom put up all her holiday decorations the day after Thanksgiving and then I wrapped all her presents. She’s done shopping! Since then, I’ve had no motivation to do my own…so my ceramic pumpkins are still sitting on my coffee table 🙁
My kids are making me get stuff out, or I probably wouldn’t. We aren’t going to be here for the holidays (hence, my ho-hum-ness about decorating), so I bought a teeny tree and we put that up, I got out the Christmas cds and I’ll put a few more things out but that’s it this year.

I don’t really own any Christmas decorations (shame on me, right?) but my roomie has enough for our little apartment. She puts up her tiny table top tree with tiny ornaments every year and then does other decorating as well. I wanted to put my train around the tree this year but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen (with all the other stuff on our tiny table) (btw, I LOVE the tiny train with your tiny tree!). When I get a house, I’ll have to invest in some decorations of my own- until then, I have no place for storage so I’ll just bum off the roomie (who stores her decorations at her mom’s house in the off season).
My mom put all the Christmas stuff up this past weekend. I didn’t help at all cause I was napping. I have a poinsettia at my desk which is nice but that is about it.
We decorated last week which is a little late for us, but we were away the weekend after Thanksgiving. I’m such a little kid when it comes to the holidays. 🙂 Christmas decorations make me happy. Hehe.
I definitely have them up at home…except for our snowman and reindeer outside…someone who shall remain nameless, is delinquent in putting them out.
Love the x-mas legos! The only christmas decos I even have up are the ones at work. My little blue and orange christmas tree. Ahhh… I feel like i’m at work more than I am at home so I brought the xmas spirit to work.
I have decorations up at home — none at work. I don’t feel festive AT ALL this year. Even after watching half of A Charlie Brown Christmas yesterday! What is the world coming to? 😉

On a serious note, there just isn’t room- I have too many kid drawn photos from over the years in every inch of free space!
Why so late? Kim, we still have no decorations up! My work is slowly getting Christmasy but at home.. well, we got the tree set up but we still need to decorate it and the rest of the house.
My daughter would love those legos. I have spent the last two weeks decorating. Next week is baking.

I don’t decorate my office at work (as you saw). I don’t own any “office” decorations since at my previous job we weren’t allowed to decorate our cubes. I just haven’t gotten around to getting anything for this job.
None at work, but lots at home. And we have the LEGO figures and mini sets, too. They are so cool and easy to put anywhere.
pretty sure if i’d taken the time to assemble the lego christmas thing at my old design job (even over lunch) i’d have been fired. life is SO much better now.

Each hall at work puts up decorations. The residents like it. Of course, my hall only put up a little tree and called it good. We have wooden ornaments spelling out ‘Hope’ ‘Joy’ and ‘Merry.’ Unfortunately, part of the Y on Joy broke so now it looks like Joi. It’s a ghetto version of joy. They sing ‘Joi to the World’ in those areas. 😛
